Lori Cage LCSW
Lori is the Executive Director of the Parenting Center and has enjoyed this position since 2001. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master of Social Work degree from Southern University of New Orleans. Lori has been married for 30 years and has a 20-year-old son. Lori serves on the board of Commission on Families, is a Safe Sitter Instructor, a Child Passenger Safety Technician, and a graduate of Leadership St. Tammany. Lori enjoys family, friends and strives for a high quality of life for her community.
Alexis Dill, PLMFT
Alexis Dill, PLMFT joined the Parenting Center as the Education Coordinator in November of 2019. Alexis received a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies with an Emphasis in Family Relations and went on to receive her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern Mississippi. She is currently a Provisionally Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working on receiving her full licensure. She is a BLS instructor, the Safe Sitter coordinator, Certified Active Parent instructor and teaches our parenting education classes. Alexis works from a systemic lens, and is passionate about helping to strengthen the parent/child relationship.
Juli Chastaine MS
Juli joined the Parenting Center in June of 2019. She has a masters degree in Counseling and ten years of experience educating hospitalized children and their families. She currently teaches “Baby Chat” our hospital preparation class for children preparing for a new sibling! She is also a Safe Sitter Instructor, AHA Certified CPR Instructor, and Child Passenger Safety Technician. Her free time is spent chasing her own set of twins.
Renee T. Ridgley MSW
Renee has been an educator with the Parenting Center since 2015. She received her Master of Social Work degree from The University of Texas at Arlington. She is a BLS instructor, Safe Sitter Instructor and Certified Active Parent instructor. Additionally, Renee teaches a variety of our parenting education classes. While her passion is teaching, she enjoys her family along with laughing and shopping.
Marlise Borelly BS
Marlise joined the Parenting Center in May of 2017 after she graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a B.S. in Health Education and Promotion. She teaches our healthy cooking classes for teens and is an AHA Certified CPR Instructor, Safe Sitter Instructor and Child Passenger Safety Technician. Marlise has a passion for youth and enjoys educating and interacting with the parents and kids in our community.
Carmen joined the Parenting Center family in 2006 as the Activities/Volunteer coordinator, after transferring from the Business office at STPH. She is the facilitator for the interactive classes, which include Play and Learn and Cuddle Buddies. She is also the First Steps Visits coordinator, Safe Sitter Instructor, and assists with the healthy cooking program for teens. In addition, she enjoys giving back to the community by being a volunteer at Lyon Elementary School with the SOAR Program that helps students develop strong reading skills.
