Since 1998, St. Tammany Parish Hospital has partnered with Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center to deliver the full range of cancer treatment options for patients on the Northshore. Now, our two organizations deliver these integrated services as Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, all in one convenient location, connected via skybridge to the hospital’s main campus.

The combined center delivers seamless, expert care to the Northshore community, delivering on the promise of world-class cancer care close to home.

Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at St. Tammany Parish Hospital is an invaluable resource in our community’s fight against cancer. Because informed patients have the power to participate in the important decisions concerning their own healthcare, the center provides access to current and accurate information related to cancer prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and coping resources.

Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at St. Tammany Parish Hospital services include radiation therapy, medical oncology, infusion services, surgery, patient navigation, palliative care, survivorship, nutrition support, early detection, outreach, education and clinical research trials.

Many volunteers are cancer survivors or family members, others are interested community members and professionals who give of their time and skills. Our mission is to provide services to individuals who need them, regardless of their financial ability. To assist us in that mission, corporations, families and individuals donate funds in honor or in memory of loved ones.
