CHOP ~ Cooking Healthy Options and Portions (ages 12 to 16)

The Parenting Center is proud to offer this popular and educational class! Teens who participate will learn valuable cooking skills, knife skills and safety, food safety, proper measuring and calculations, meal planning, boiling, simmering, sautéing and baking. Teens will also learn useful nutritional information such as the importance of consuming enough fruits and vegetables, how to lower intakes of fat, sugar and sodium, and proper portion control! Everything will be hands on from chopping to cooking.
(All supplies include; limited space). COST: $50/per person
