Dr. Charles Baier has been providing adult primary care services to the residents of St. Tammany Parish for the past 35 years. He has been associated with the St. Tammany Physicians Network for the past 21 years.
He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and provides services for patients 15 years old and older at the STPN Mandeville Clinic
As an internist specializing in the prevention and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and lipid disorders, Dr. Baier also enjoys seeing his patients for everyday issues with colds, sore throats and other illnesses.
“I feel that knowing a patient as a person, rather than just a disease to be treated, is the very best part of primary care,” Dr. Baier says.
Dr. Baier is a graduate of the University of Arkansas Medical School, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Arkansas Medical Center and VA Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.
