Welcome to the St. Tammany Hospital Foundation Information Center.  This site has been designed to help you, as a friend of St. Tammany Parish Hospital and the St. Tammany Hospital Foundation, support programs that are important to you and help us make a difference in the lives of the patients and community we serve.

The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization established to sustain the healing work of the physicians and staff of St. Tammany Parish Hospital.  Through the development of philanthropic support, the Foundation seeks to fortify our promise to provide Excellence in Healthcare . . . Close to Home, now and for generations to come.

The Foundation is dedicated to a "Donor-Centered Philosophy." Our first priority is to ensure that contributors' desires and expectations are fulfilled. This means that every gift will be recognized and stewarded by following the donor's intent and expectations. The Foundation subscribes to a nationally accepted fund-raising code of ethics and the Donor's Bill of Rights .

Unrestricted gifts to the Foundation are directed by the Board of Trustees toward the hospital's most pressing needs.  Gifts may also be restricted to a particular specialty or program to benefit patient services, capital, or equipment priorities. Donations are tax-deductible and may be made in several forms , including cash, securities, real estate, life insurance and bequests. Planned Giving options are also available.

Volunteer leadership directs the major gift and planned gift fundraising programs.  These programs offer significant naming opportunities and recognition to those individuals and businesses that choose to support the Foundation in a meaningful way.
