Express Care

STHS Express Care walk-in clinic

Healthcare on your schedule.

Not everybody works a regular 9-to-5, which can make getting routine healthcare difficult at best.

With that in mind, and as part of its mission to keep everyone in our community as healthy as possible, St. Tammany Health System introduces its new Express Care walk-in clinic, which provides all the services you’d expect from a traditional medical office but from the non-traditional hours of 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with weekend hours expected to be added this fall.

The best part: We’re conveniently located, on Highway 21 in Covington just a mile south of our main hospital campus.

So come swing by – whenever it’s good for you.

Please note: The St. Tammany Health System Express Care service is not an emergency care facility. If you’re experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 to arrange transport to our hospital Emergency Department in Covington or our standalone emergency facility in Mandeville.

Know your options.

It’s not always an emergency – but that doesn’t mean you have to wait to get it taken care of. For those not-quite-emergency situations that still call immediate medical attention, visit our STHS-Ochsner Urgent Care centers at 1111 Greengate Drive in Covington (right next to the Dunkin’ Donuts on U.S. 190) and at 2735 Highway 190 in Mandeville.

Life can be unpredictable. Sometimes that’s a good thing. Other times, it lands you in the ER. Luckily for you, St. Tammany Health System operates two fully staffed and accredited emergency rooms around the clock and 365 days a year, one at our main hospital campus as well as a standalone Emergency Department on U.S. 190 in Mandeville. Note: If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911.
