The Maternal/Child Services department of St. Tammany Parish Hospital consists of Labor & Delivery which is a Level III OB unit, the Treatment Room which is a triage area for expecting mothers,Postpartum, an Antenatal Unit providing care to preterm labor patients and post-op GYN surgery patients, Newborn Nursery, NICU and Pediatrics.
Our latest addition to Maternal / Child Services is the Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic which is held 1 – 2 times per month providing Level III ultrasounds and consultations to mothers with high-risk pregnancies by a certified perinatologist.
