Cancer Center Hosts Free Screenings in September
(Covington) – Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at St. Tammany Parish Hospital is hosting two free prostate cancer screenings during September.
- Friday, September 13, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Main’s Market (82205 Highway 25, Folsom)
- Saturday, September 21, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Tammany Parish Hospital Community Wellness Center (1505 N. Florida Boulevard, Covington)

The prostate screening includes a PSA blood test and a physical exam performed by a physician. The screening is available to men 45 and older who do not have a doctor or who have not been screened for prostate cancer in the past 12 months.
